  • Management Evaluation
    HMI will evaluate your hotel/resort’s current management structure.  Recommendations will be offered on your management structure so your hotel/resort operates successfully. 

  • Market Review
    HMI will review the current market your hotel/resort operates within.  This includes the economic stability of the market, lodging demand service, competitive supply, and performance.  It will also review your product offering, branding, pricing, and overall competitive market position.  Recommendations for effective market positioning will be rendered. 

  • Market Planning
    HMI will assist you in creating a market plan that is workable, expandable, and adaptable to future changes in the market.  The plan will address key areas including pricing, promotion, product offering, and marketplace opportunities.  Components to be evaluated in the plan include: direct sales, advertising, public relations, and sales promotions.  Click here for a market plan outline in PDF format.

  • Business Planning
    This document will reflect strategies to addressing competition, attracting the market, controlling operating expenses, defining management and staffing structure, etc. This will clarify your operational goals and objectives of the hotel/resort. 

  • Franchise Brand Repositioning
    HMI will evaluate your hotel/resort’s franchise brand to ensure proper product market positioning.  Maintaining the existing brand position or suggestions for repositioning your hotel/resort recommendations will be provided. 

  • Marketing Repositioning
    Possible repositioning of your hotel/resort to expand into other markets may be recommended to support future investment growth. 

  • Property Improvement Recommendations & Coordination
    In order to retain a competitive market position, your hotel/resort requires offering current and competitive product and service features.  HMI will assist your hotel/resort in identifying property improvement recommendations to support its competitive position. 

  • Adaptive Reuse
    At times the asset may no longer be functional in its primary function as a hotel/resort.  HMI will assist in reviewing the status of a hotel/resort’s life cycle.  If necessary, recommendations will be provided for possible secondary uses of the asset.  These include uses of the land and buildings.
